Chris is a state tax manager based in the Detroit office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has significant experience in various areas of state and local taxation, including income and franchise tax, property tax and sales/use tax.

Chris has served companies in a number of industries including automotive, retail, information technology, and financial services. Specifically, Chris has consulted with automotive finance companies and debt purchasing companies on complex state matters including multistate financial organization status and apportionment and sourcing of revenue streams. Chris also has extensive experience with financial service companies related to state Revenue Agent Report (RAR) amended returns, and deferred tax asset computations and consulting.

Chris is very knowledgeable in pass through state reporting, state withholding matters, and K-1 reporting to the partners / shareholders. He also has extensive experience responding to state audits and notices on pass through entity reporting and state withholding matters. Since joining PwC, Chris has helped manage a very large compliance engagement for a large pass through entity which operates in all 50 states including structures that have financial and non-financial activity.

Chris has six years of tax experience. Prior to coming to PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2012, Chris spent five years with Grant Thornton in their state tax practice.

Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and is a Michigan Certified Public Accountant.
