Rachel started with the MICPA in 2016 working in volunteer services before joining the government relations department in 2017. She worked in state policy prior to the MICPA as a staff member in the Michigan House of Representatives. Rachel specializes in occupational licensing, grassroots advocacy and PAC management. Working closely with the state legislature, department of treasury, department of licensing and regulatory affairs (LARA) and the unemployment insurance agency (UIA), Rachel monitors and communicates profession updates to the membership of more than 17,000 that she represents.
