Considerations & Challenges

Legalized cannabis is one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S. making this one attractive market for clients. However, as a Schedule 1 controlled substance on the federal level, CPAs and firms contemplating services to the cannabis industry should consider the applicable risks and the elements involved in this line including attestation and peer review requirements. Our panel of CPAs reviews and discusses the challenges.
